Morgan and Al are two of the most kind, genuine people you will ever meet. There were so many hugs, laughs, happy tears, and so much ENERGY at this wedding! Check out our interview with the Couple, and some of my favorite photos of the day!

Q + A with Morgan and Al:
1) Looking back, what were some of your favorite parts or moments of the Wedding day?
Our favorite parts of the wedding day were definitely the first look, getting to see each other as bride and groom was so special and emotional!! We both started crying and then laughing because we both pulled handkerchiefs out at the same exact moment. Another favorite moment was getting to hear the vows we wrote for each other, so full of love and laughter. It was also just amazing to celebrate with our family and closest friends!
2) What was your favorite piece of fashion or accessory, and where did you get it?
My dress!! I found it at a Pronovias trunk show at a little boutique in Logan Square (Luxe Bridal Rack) and fell in love instantly.
3) What was the inspiration for your decor or styling?
We love Chicago and particularly rooftops, so it only made sense that we’d fall in love with our venue – We got married at the Wyndham Grand on the river (now called Royal Sonesta) on the penthouse level overlooking the city and river – so we really didn’t want to take away too much from the beautiful surroundings. We wanted all neutral, classic colors with mixed metallics to give a city chic vibe. Our bridal party all wore black and we thought the whole look of the wedding was just perfect.
4) Mention a funny moment here:
During our first dance Al spun and dipped me and I lost balance and almost fell, but he caught me – there’s a great photo of us laughing right after this happened!
5) Any wedding advice for engaged couples?
Enjoy every minute and don’t sweat the small stuff! The day is about the two of you, no one else. If something little goes wrong chances are no one will notice it. The day will fly by so just enjoy every little moment with each other and your family and friends! And don’t get overwhelmed by planning, everything will work out and get done.
6) Tell us about the honeymoon plans!
We spent an amazing 7 nights in the Maldives!!! It was the most perfect ending to the perfect wedding!
7) What was it like working with Sprung Photo?
INCREDIBLE!!! Victoria was the best to work with, not only are her photos true works of art, she is the nicest person, and so organized. She basically created our entire timeline for us, and recommended places for portraits for both the day of the wedding and the engagement shoot. Our photos are stunning and we could not be happier to have been able to work with her!!
