Mark + Yen’s beautiful outdoor wedding at Independence Grove in Libertyville, Illinois

A beautiful outdoor wedding, karaoke, and a lion dance! Here are some favorite photos from Mark and Yen’s big day at Independence Grove in Libertyville, Illinois.

Looking back, what were some of your favorite parts or moments of the Wedding day?
Our first look, ceremony, and our first dance.

What was your favorite piece of fashion or accessory, and where did you get it?
Yen’s hair piece from Etsy (handmade by someone in France)

What was the inspiration for your decor or styling?
Summer

Mention a funny moment here:
When Mark was confused which hand (right vs left) the ring supposed to be on. It is funny that he did the same thing when he proposed. There was confusion which hand the engagement ring was supposed to be on.

Any wedding advice for engaged couples?
Plan ahead and know exactly what you want or don’t want. Have a plan B (and even plan C). Most importantly, take a moment to yourself and enjoy your wedding day!

Tell us about the honeymoon!
We went to Moorea, one of the French Polynesian islands. It was beautiful and relaxing. We had a great time swimming with the stingrays and Blacktip sharks, snorkeling, doing a safari/ATV tour, and exploring the French Polynesian culture/food.

What was it like working with Sprung Photo?
It was great! Victoria had a solid plan and she knew exactly what she was doing. She was decisive, creative and flexible. It was a pleasure working with her and her team.
