Lauren and Norm’s Wedding took place at the Field Museum, one of the coolest venues in town! They loved being able to incorporate Sue the T-rex into their Wedding. 🙂 Lauren and Norm are so good together, and their families seemed like they had already known each other forever. There were so many smiles, and so many amazing moments to capture! It was such a joy to be able to document everything for them.

Q&A with the B&G:
Looking back, what were some of your favorite parts or moments of the Wedding day?
It was amazing seeing our friends and family members from all over the world and different times in our lives, I peeked over the balcony before the ceremony and felt so loved! 🙂 Our family members and friends blended really well together, seeing them dance and goof around was great! I loved the quiet moment you captured during the Fireworks with Norm and I, it was nice to have a second and take everything in! I also thought it was really funny when we had the “lady invasion” by the lake! {see the photos below! -victoria}
What was your favorite piece of fashion or accessory, and where did you get it?
My bracelet from Norm’s mom melts me everytime I look at it… In India, the girls wear their family’s wealth… So, when Norm’s mom had each of her children, she bought a chunk of gold, when each of her kids get married, she has a bracelet custom made… She put so much thought and effort into mine, I just love it! It reminds me of how loving and excited she was to meet me and get to know me (ugh- love it!)
I also LOVE my engagement ring… Norm and I are not fans of diamonds (yucky industry, everyone has one) so we looked at all kinds of different stones. We decided on a moissanite since its extremely sparkly and has a dash of science for Norm 😉
What was the inspiration for your decor or styling?
FUN (blow horns, clappers, photobooth), silly & different (dino escort cards, robot cake topper, robot tie, worry dolls on bouquet)… We wanted everyone to feel welcomed, relaxed and just have a blast
Any advice for future Brides and Grooms?
Choose Mike and Victoria for your photos and videos, they know what they’re doing, can help keep you relaxed, have the patience of saints and follow through! 🙂
