First time using the MagBeam, and I decided to try out the power extending feature. These two photos have the EXACT same settings.
For one photo I had the MagBeam on the flash fully collapsed (I didn’t extend the snoot part). For the other image, it’s just a bare flash. You can see that it adds a little bit of extra pop! Pretty nice to be able to add more power, especially when working alone outside with just 1 flash. The images in the comparison photo are un-edited, so that you can see the results better.
