Meghan and Dave had one of the most beautiful, emotional “First Look” moments I have ever had the privilege of photographing. This feeling extended to the Ceremony, which was full of love, joy, and a little bit of humor. I also absolutely loved the inspiration for their table names at their Reception; their favorite Fictional places. My favorites were King’s Landing (Game of Thrones), and Florin and Gilder (the Princess Bride). Looking back, what were some of your favorite parts or moments of the Wedding day?
We loved spending time with our family and friends. We had people traveling from all over, so it meant a lot to have everyone there to celebrate with us. It was really fun getting ready with the wedding party in the morning, it was relaxed and we got to spend time with our best friends before the festivities kicked off.
What was your favorite piece of fashion or accessory, and where did you get it?
I loved my shoes – they were gold, had subtle sparkle, and beyond comfortable. There was no way I could have danced for 3 hours in heels. And I got them at Nordstrom!
What was the inspiration for your decor or styling?
We wanted to have decor that was comfortable and intimate. Nimble Well and Pollen did a great job of providing a stylish and rustic look – the different floral glasses and napkins turned out fantastic. We loved the idea of farm tables and family-style dinner, we wanted our guests to be able to socialize and enjoy great food and drinks. We also brought in elements of fun that represented us – like the robots, table names, and Polaroids.

Any advice for future Brides and Grooms?
Good vendors pay off in the long run. We had a team of superstars that made our day effortless, they are truly the best in the business. Planning early can help lock down those good vendors, plus it helps alleviate any stress in the final months.
