Sailing, and being out on the water, is Michelle and Jeff’s happy place. So much so that their Wedding is taking place at Columbia Yacht Club, which is a giant ice breaker perma-docked on Lake Michigan. For their engagement session, they wanted something that represented them, and they were definitely in their element on that sail boat. I love the water and boats, so I was game to hop on with them! It was fascinating, watching them hoist the sales. Their dear friend Dan was there to Captain, and even doubled as a lighting assistant for those last shots! Speaking of those last shots that are taken from another boat…yep, I climbed onto another sailboat to get those. What a fun time we had on the “Bloody Mary”, and I can’t wait to document Michelle and Jeff’s big day soon!
