Beatrice and Cristian's classic and elegant Romanian Chicago Wedding

I have been excited to share this Wedding for quite some time now! I love how effortlessly chic and elegant this Wedding was, and how great Beatrice and Cristian are together. Here are some of my favorite images from their big day, as well as a Q&A with the Couple!

Looking back, what were some of your favorite parts or moments of the Wedding day?

–Favorite was coming down the stairs to my house and meeting Cristian

–Other good moments were when it was just Cristian and I taking photographs at the Chicago Cultural Center–Victoria had an awesome inspiration to go there as we had some extra time and it happened to not be occupied that day–we were able to take photos with just the two of us which made the shots all the more intimate

What was your favorite piece of fashion or accessory, and where did you get it?

–My veil which was a cathedral length 2 tier alencon lace veil made by NicoleMaeLaceVeils

What was the inspiration for your decor or styling?

–I like an elegant style which is very classic, so royal weddings where the style is very refined was an inspiration for me

Mention a funny moment here:

–Cristian forgot his belt at home as he was travelling to the best man’s home. As he was picking up one of the other groomsmen, he realized that he was missing the belt, so they stopped at a nearby Walmart which was the only store open so early in the morning, and quickly picked up a new belt. It’s funny, as his suit was from Hugo Boss that was custom tailored and he ended up with a $10 belt. You couldn’t tell the difference unless he said something. He was afraid to say anything the whole day but ended up telling me while we were relaxing prior to being introduced at the reception. It was a good laugh.

Any wedding advice for engaged couples?

–Work together on everything and try to not stress out. No matter what, everything always works out. The day of the wedding, take it easy and let others do the work for you. Stick to your plans and don’t let anyone influence you.

Tell us about the honeymoon!

–We went to Romania for 2.5 weeks and Italy for 4 days. We did a ton of sightseeing but also got to relax in the beautiful mountains of Romania.

What was it like working with Sprung Photo?

–Victoria was awesome to work with. Not only does she take amazing photographs, she has a unique inspiration that translates into works of art. We are so pleased with her work and can’t wait to order our album. She worked with us on what we wanted to have done and where we wanted the creative shots. She is super professional and is well prepared for everything. We had a little bit of rain during the first creative shot but she knew what to do and we still ended up with great shots.
