Jolie and Bryson at Bond Chapel and the Quadrangle Club, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL

I am BEYOND excited to share these Wedding images with you! Jolie has been a friend of mine for over 10 years. When she asked me to photograph her Wedding, I was deeply honored. Jolie and Bryson’s Wedding day was absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. The Ceremony was especially touching, which you will clearly be able to see! Their Wedding was also a good example of what I’m capable of doing indoors in dimly lit situations.

I literally can’t wait to share these images, so I’m going to let Jolie do a little talking now, and show off some favorite pictures!

Q&A with the Bride…

Looking back, what were your favorite parts or moments of the Wedding day?
I would have to say the first look. Having that moment to just connect with each other without really worrying about details or timelines was really special to me.

What was your favorite piece of fashion or accessory, and where did you get it?
All of my jewelry consisted of estate pieces, even the headdress, which was fashioned out of two shoe-clips by an etsy seller. I think the headdress would have to be my answer for favorite accessory.

What was the inspiration for your decor or styling?
We had a very loose theme of 20s-30s fashion inspiration and really tried to err on the side of timeless and sophisticated.

Mention a funny moment here:
Well, toddlers are always very honest, let me just say that. Our officiant asked the guests if they would support us in our journey as husband and wife and everyone said ‘yes’ except one tiny little voice that shouted ‘no’ at the very end. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard.

Any advice for future Brides and Grooms?
Even though weddings can be stressful and there are a lot of things that have to be done in a very finite amount of time, just make sure you connect to each other and remember why you’re having a wedding in the first place. It’s easy to get overwhelmed, lean on your partner for support and don’t forget to say ‘I love you’ and ‘thank you’.
