How I Shot It: Photography Tutorial 47

 

This was in Chicago near 31st Street beach.

 

 

How it was done:

  • I climbed down to the marina, where I was able to be down below the couple.
  • My Assistant was up the ramp, closer to their level to light them.
  • I used the Magmod MagBox, camera left (up high on a 12 foot light stand) with the Godox AD600
  • Settings: 24mm, f/3.5, ISO 100, 1/200th second, flash on 1/16th power.
  • Shot with the Canon R5.
