How I Shot It: Photography Tutorial 28

 

Two Bride portraits; One using the MagMod MagBox and one using a MagMod MagGrid.

 

 

For this image, there is a MagMod MagGrid on a flash on a light stand, camera left, and on the same level as the Bride.

 

 

 

 

Here’s what it looked like with ambient light only:

 

 

 

For this image, the MagBox is camera left, behind a wall that was between me and the Bride (behind the reflection). The MagBox has the focus diffuser on. I didn’t want to light up the whole rooftop with all of the furniture and distractions around, and I also wanted the maximum power from the flashes.
