How I Shot It: Photography Tutorial 20

 

There was a ton of light coming through these windows, but I was determined to show the lake and sky outside. I also didn’t want to use bare flash and light up every single thing in the room.

 

 

 

 

Here’s how it was done:

  • 3 flash set up: 1 AD200 with a MagMod MagGrid in front of the windows off to each side of the “altar”, facing the couple from behind, and 1 AD200 with a MagMod MagGrid to camera left beyond the guests, up high to go over the guests, and pointed toward the couple.
  • The 24-70mm lens was at 24mm, so that’s why everything is in focus
