COVID PROTOCOLS

*These guidelines may change once a large part of the population is vaccinated! We will keep you updated.

A Healthy & Safe Team

The Sprung Photo team complies with all health and safety laws, directives, and rules and regulations. My team and I will follow Illinois regulations by wearing a mask and maintaining social distance at all times.

If your scheduled photographer or videographer is required to quarantine or is having covid symptoms, we will have a backup ready!

If a photographer or videographer on our team is not comfortable working your event, we have backups available, as long as Illinois regulations and guidelines are being followed by your event.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide services to your event if you are not requiring guests to wear masks, and if we are unable to maintain a safe distance from you and your guests.

Flexible Rescheduling Options

If you decide to postpone the wedding, we are here to help you move everything over to the new date! We just ask that you please make sure to check with us before setting a new date in order to make sure we are available for that date. If your assigned photographer or videographer is not available on the new date, we may have other Associates available.

If you decide to downsize your wedding guest list, or have it at another location in the area, we are adaptable. We are there to capture the story of the day, so it doesn't matter to us if it's a backyard wedding with 10 people or a City Hall wedding with a small dinner afterward. We want to be there to document your big day!

If you decide to have a small wedding on your current wedding date and move your big reception to a later date, we can cover both!

If you decide to postpone, but don’t want to set a new date yet, we can help you with this, too.

Rescheduling Fees

Should you choose to change your event date due to COVID 19, we do not charge any fees for weddings rescheduled to a non-Saturday between May - October or any day between November - April. If you decide you would like to reschedule your wedding date to a prime Saturday between May and October, we just ask for a 25% rebooking fee (25% of the package amount). The majority of our inquiries are for Saturdays in May – October, so by choosing a date outside of this range, it allows us to have new income. This is how we have been staying in business through the pandemic.

Transferable Retainer Fees

The retainer fee is always non-refundable, as it allows us to set aside that particular date, and not take any other work for that day. It also helps us with upfront costs for us, and time associated with booking the day and providing administrative services before the wedding day. Retainer fees are considered "earned" upon booking.

Your non-refundable retainer can work as a credit on your account though! Should you choose to cancel your event altogether due to COVID 19, your retainer may be used for future wedding services or be applied toward a photography session of your choice, like an engagement session, an anniversary session, family session, headshots or personal branding, maternity, newborn, etc.
